How do I know my horse needs physiotherapy?

Animals are no different to people, they also suffer musculoskeletal injuries as does the human athlete such as back pain, muscle strains, soft tissue injuries and they also require rehabilitation after surgery. Horses tend to show their discomfort by a change in behaviour or by moving differently, what used to be easy may become difficult.
